Course character

Opened in 1956, Esmeralda has broad, mostly flat fairways framed by mature trees. Its welcoming shape makes it an especially useful course for building confidence, while the small doglegs still reward sensible positioning.

It is not a long course by modern standards, but out-of-bounds areas and well-placed doglegs mean accuracy still matters. For newer players, it offers space to learn without an overwhelming number of forced carries.
