Liberty Lake Golf Course

Liberty Lake is a public Spokane County course east of downtown Spokane. Its renovated championship layout combines open ground, white-sand bunkers, large greens, and water.

Is Liberty Lake right for your round?

Consider it for an east-valley public round with a restaurant and rental options. Newer players should choose tees that match their usual distances rather than treating the longest layout as the default. If a full-swing warm-up is essential, confirm range access before booking.

Choose your tees

The County lists four tee sets at each of its courses; Liberty Lake’s published maximum is 6,607 yards. Ask the pro shop for the current scorecard and tee recommendations. We have not verified individual tee lengths or slope ratings, so they are not reproduced here.

Read the layout before you play

The large greens, bunkers and water make approach planning worth attention. Use the official flyover below to orient yourself; the photographs show selected views, not every hole. Our guidance is based on operator information, not a first-hand playing review.

Before you arrive

  • Reserve: use the County booking service. Ask the pro shop about advance-booking windows, cancellations and when to check in.
  • Warm up: the operator lists putting, chipping and sand practice. The range has a construction notice; call before relying on it.
  • Travel light: rental clubs, power carts and push carts are listed. Confirm availability, charges and any dress requirements.
  • Make a day of it: check restaurant hours if planning a meal after golf. For lessons or group outings, arrange details with the course.

Range availability: check before travelling

Checked October 10, 2026: the County still displays its range-construction notice. The stated end-of-September completion goal has passed, but the notice does not confirm reopening. Call 509-255-6233 for today’s status; do not treat this as confirmation that the range is open or closed.

Compare other courses

MeadowWood is the closest comparison to consider for an open, links-style par-72 round in the same Liberty Lake area. Its operator lists an aquatic driving range, but check daily practice access separately.

Latah Creek offers a different setting south of Spokane: a par-72 layout where the creek comes into play on seven holes. Choose it for that creek-side character rather than east-valley convenience.
