Manito Golf & Country Club is a private, member-owned club on Spokane’s South Hill. The club offers golf and other member amenities; access and membership information are handled directly by Manito.
Is Manito right for your visit?
Consider Manito for a private-club membership or a visit whose golf access has already been arranged. It is not a walk-up public-course option. Membership requires nomination by existing members and approval; the club explicitly says social membership does not include golf privileges.
Golf access & tee choice
The operator lists an 18-hole, par-71 course of 6,504 yards. Eligible players should ask for the current scorecard and tee guidance rather than assuming that overall length applies to every setup.

Course character
Manito’s golf history reaches back to 1917, with the club moving to its current setting several years later. The course hosted the 1944 PGA Championship, and its greens remain a defining part of the playing experience.
Alongside golf, the club offers a pro shop, practice range, putting green, simulators, dining, swimming, and a junior-golf program for members and their families.
Golf access
This private club does not publish public green fees. Contact the club for membership or eligible guest-play information.
Before you arrive
Before travelling, confirm your eligibility to play, who must arrange the reservation, guest charges and any accompanying-member requirement. Ask the club about check-in, dress rules, rentals and access to practice facilities. Do not infer a guest-play entitlement from a membership enquiry or a restaurant visit.
Compare other courses
Latah Creek offers a public south-Spokane alternative without a private-club membership requirement. Qualchan is another public option nearby for a water-influenced, target-style round.
